Mailchimp Transactional Email (formerly Mandrill)
Introduction
This guide takes you through obtaining authentication details from Mailchimp and installing a Mailchimp Transactional Email Connector.
The Mailchimp Transactional Email API is a separate paid service to Mailchimp.
Setup & Authentication
Remote Setup
Account Creation
If you don't have a Mailchimp Transactional account, you’ll need to create one in order to get started using the API.
If you have a Mailchimp Standard plan or higher, you can enable Mailchimp Transactional from the Monthly plans or credits page of your account.
API Key Generation
Navigate to the settings of your Mailchimp Transactional account and look for the API Keys section.
Click Create New Key and give it a description.
Copy the generated key immediately and store it in a secure location. You won’t be able to see or copy the key once you finish generating it.
It’s important to remember that your Mailchimp Transactional API key provides full account access so you should keep it secure, as you would a password.

When installing the Mailchimp Transactional Email Connector, enter the following values:
